I'm tall, dark and handsome (so I have been told). I'm an intelligent, confident and funny person (again, so I have been told!). I very sociable, easy going and give people the benefit of the doubt.

I was born and bought up in West London and now live in North London. I can't imagine living anywhere else (except, maybe New York)

I'm into art, film and philosophy. Favourite artist: Sam Taylor Wood. Favourite film of 2007: Lives of Others. Favourite Philosophers: Epicurus, Wittgenstein and Marx.

Current listening on my ipod: Cocteau Twins, Gotan Project, Goldfrapp, Pet Shop Boys, Rufus Wainwright & Gwen Stefani. Oh I also have podcasts of Jonathan Ross's radio programme - they give me chuckle when i'm travelling on the tube....

I should read more novels than I do and I should go to the theatre more. Somebody who is into literature and the theatre will be good to have around...

I read the Guardian, Observer and the New York Review of Books regularly. I read The Economist when I need to catch upon on the state of the global political economy.

My favorite comedy DVD's: Curb Your Enthusiasm (Larry David is a genius), Seinfeld and Peep Show. I tend to watch news, documentary and cookery shows. I do like some 'reality' tv as well but definitely not Ch.4's 'Secret Millionaire' - I think it's immoral!. I am disappointed that The Guardian's Charlie Brookner sees merit n that programme. I usually like what Charlie has to say.

I prefer drinking wine to beer. My favourite food is Italian. I enjoy exhibitions at the Tate Modern; drinking/dining in central London, running on Primrose Hill and Sunday walks on Hampstead Heath.

I'm not carrying any emotional baggage...
