"To be the way I want to be !! "

I'm a hopeless romantic in some ways and I'd hoped that I was going to meet my ideal partner walking along the beach at dusk whilst on holiday or perhaps during the build up of a best friend's wedding.. Or haggling in a dusty souk in the blistering heat of Morocco. I don't know perhaps I've been sucked in by the movies but I was waiting for those butterflies. It just hasn't happened.

We are all swimming in a very small pond and there just aren't many fish that I've wanted to catch. I hope this doesn't sound arrogant but I just held out for my knight in shining armour and I'm still trapped up in the tower!!! No... I know you're out there!! I know you are!!

I need someone to restore my faith in my romanticism yet also want someone to fulfill certain criteria... Simple things... a good sense of humour, Passionate about life yet calm. Loyal- not only to me but to her own ideals. Indiana Jones-ish basically- intelligent and adventurous... ("simple things", I said!!)

Again physical attraction is important and can determine if someone is to be a friend or a marriage potential. It's all about the factor or va va voom!! It can be the way someone carries themselves.. Confident not arrogant.
I don't relish in talking about myself but I suppose I have to in this situation...

I'm a confident and independent. I will only get married if I can enhance someones life and she can enhance mine too. I want to learn all the time. I want to learn from my wife too. About anything!!! I can adapt fairly easily to my surroundings but still maintaining the core of who I am. I can compromise on many things if convinced with reason. I prefer to give than to receive. I love to talk but I love to listen too. You learn more.

I am very passionate about my life, my job, my family and friends and fiercely loyal. I enjoy life and you should live each day as if it was the last.. Not just plod along. God Almighty has blessed us with this life to make of it what we can.. It's up to us to enjoy it to the max!!
I look after myself and my appearance and visit the gym regularly.. I'm in shape basically and I am confident about my looks. But I do want someone to love me for my qualities and for all my flaws not for the way I look. We all get old and wrinkly and looks fade. I don't rely on my looks to get me by and I do feel the spiritual journey is far more important.

For someone who said they hate talking about themselves, I've done a good job of going on... all in all.. I have lots to give and want to aspire to be a great husband and an loyal friend.. I hope I can fulfill that with the right person.
