'm Georgina, I'm 28 years old. I originally come from York but have been living and working in County Durham for the past six years. I originally came up here to uni and loved it so much I stayed. I love the North East and can see myself living here for the rest of my days.
My job is fairly stressful so after work I like to chill out and relax. That usually involves messing about on the Internet, reading, watching TV, listening to music (mostly trance but I like all sorts.) I'm a social worker in County Durham, working with children and families. I've been doing the job for nearly four years now. It's hard work but never boring!
At weekends I like going out different places, meeting up with friends etc. I love theme parks - roller coasters are awesome! I like places that are fun, interesting and a bit different. I also like going to museums and going out for meals.
I've recently bought my own house, which I love. Before living here I was renting with various friends/randomers for 5 years, so it feels great to have the place to myself. I’m gradually getting it furnished and decorated – it’s a work in progress!
I try to keep fit by going to the gym and swimming but I often lack motivation after a hard day at work!
One thing I want to do that I haven't done much of so far is travel. Sad to say, I haven't even been out of Europe before. I haven't had a holiday this year because of the whole house-buying thing, but would love to go to Australia next year.
